On June 6, students from the preparatory department of the Faculty of International Education took part in the traditional event «We Meet at Pushkin», dedicated to Russian Language Day and Pushkin Day in Russia.

The event was organized by the Scientific Library of Maykop State Technological University. The host of the meeting was Irina Konstantinova, head of the scientific and methodological department. Participants gathered at the bust of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin to honor the memory of the great poet by laying flowers and reading his immortal works. A student from Turkmenistan, Amangeldiyev Atageldi, recited the poem To I.I. Puschin for the audience — a piece written by A.S. Pushkin for his fellow lyceum friend.

It is worth noting that every year the event unites more and more admirers of Russian literature. The creative legacy of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin continues to inspire new generations, preserve the bond between generations, and remind us of the richness of Russian culture.

We congratulate everyone on Russian Language Day and Pushkin Day in Russia!
