The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference on Geology, Geophysics and Geoecology was opened at MSTU on May 16
The traditional VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Fundamental and Applied aspects of Geology, Geophysics and Geoecology using modern information technologies" was opened on 16, May on the basis of the Maykop State Technological University, which united 247 scientists from Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, China, as well as from 19 Russian regions.

The conference was organized by the Maykop State Technological University together with the Institute of Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, with the support of the Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Consortium "Sustainable Development" on the basis of the Witte Moscow University, with the participation of the Department for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of the Republic of Adygea and the Department of Geology and Licensing in the Republic of Armenia of the Department for Subsoil Use in the Southern Federal District.

The organizers of the conference are the teaching staff of the Faculty of Engineering of the Maykop State Technological University under the direction of the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Economics, Professor Murat Bedanokov.
During the three-day work of the conference, the issues of the consequences of global and regional climate change, technologies of rational nature management, monitoring and environmental protection, and so on were discussed. In addition, scientists discussed biological methods of environmental quality control, recycling and recycling of industrial and household waste, and physico-chemical and biological methods of wastewater treatment.
